ReplyDeleteBut what about the fact that even with the problems we have, we still live a far higher standard of living than those who live in countries we are trying to help. I think the country is trying to take care of our own people without neglecting those in other countries who desperately need our help. There are so many examples of people who were mutilated and slaughtered because we were trying to stay out of the situation who we could have saved if we'd stepped in.
Obviously we can't fix the world alone, but we should try to help where we can!

Chas, I am so glad for your comments! Thanks for the support. And I agree with you quite a bit. I saw this somewhere and felt that it was worth posting but you're right. And that is what makes this country "God's Land," is the higher way of doing things.
